A quick, easy appetizer with hearty, savory flavors.

5-6oz provolone cheese, sliced

Walnuts, toasted and coarsely chopped

Dried oregano to taste

  1. Preheat boiler to high.
  2. Put cheese in a 5″-6″ ovenproof skillet, and broil until cheese is browned and bubbling, about 9-10 minutes.  Transfer hot skillet to plate, and sprinkle nuts and oregano to taste.
  3. Serve hot with Croccantini.
