Pumpkin Spice Chickpea Dip
A more healthful alternative to the chocolate and candy of Halloween, this tasty recipe is packed with protein, and a great option for any Autumn host or hostess!
1 8oz can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained and rinsed
1 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup almond butter
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 3/4 tsp pumpkin spice
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp sea salt (or to taste)
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor.
- Refrigerate for up to 10 days, or serve immediately.
- Serving tip: for an extra sweet treat, serve with a small dash of dark chocolate or Nutella.
